Thora's

In this dusky, off-beat, romantic dramedy, Rodney O'Connor exclusively publishes his anonymous daily haiku through his best friend and biggest supporter, Peyton, who proudly displays them at work—their local coffee shop, Thora's. When Peyton presents a unique gift that ignites a spark in Rodney to write his most meaningful poem yet, he faces a daunting decision before the upcoming open mic night: embrace vulnerability and risk his dearest friendship, or remain in the comfortable invisibility of his anonymous existence.

Boasting human connections and coffee shop vibes, this film explores the complexities and extremes of platonic, familial, and romantic loves. From the perspective of a writer, for all writers and artists who battle with sharing their internal struggles to the outside world, this film speaks to anyone coping with loss while working to build a brighter, more genuine future of their own.
